New Bryson Headquarters Opens in Long Beach with Mayor and City Leaders |
Local Expansion Reflects Long Beach’s Push to Attract New Industries |
A growing financial services company with deep local roots marked a new chapter Wednesday afternoon as Bryson Financial officially opened its new headquarters at 2165 E. Spring St. with a ribbon cutting attended by city leaders, business partners, and community members.
The company, which expanded to the space in January 2026, now occupies the top two floors of the building. The expansion reflects both its national growth and its continued commitment to Long Beach, where the business traces back decades. Founded as a family-run operation, Bryson Financial has evolved into a multi-location firm serving clients across the country while maintaining its base in the city.
Long Beach City Mayor Reflects On City’s Growth
Long Beach Mayor Rex Richardson joined the celebration, emphasizing the role companies like Bryson play in the city’s broader economic strategy.
“This is a 50-year company in the city of Long Beach,” Richardson said during remarks at the event.
He pointed to the company’s location in what the city has branded “Space Beach,” an area seeing increased investment from aerospace and advanced manufacturing firms. According to the mayor, the presence of large companies creates opportunities for smaller and mid-sized businesses to grow alongside them.
“It’s an ecosystem that we invest in,” Richardson said, noting that financial services firms help support the needs of larger industry players while also contributing to the local economy through jobs and everyday spending.
Several Elected Offices Were Represented at the Event
including staff from congressional, state, and county offices, along with members of the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. Fifth District Councilmember Megan Kerr also spoke, highlighting the company’s community ties and long-standing presence in the area.
She described Bryson not just as a business, but as a local institution that has consistently reinvested in the community through relationships, hiring, and visibility at local events.
Trent Bryson Reflects On His Connection to Long Beach
The company’s CEO, Trent Bryson, reflected on that connection in his own remarks, sharing his personal history with Long Beach and his decision to build the company locally rather than relocate.
“I could stay and change the city that we live in,” Bryson said, describing his commitment to the area and appreciation for its character.
The move to the new headquarters effectively doubles the company’s previous office space, allowing for continued expansion of its team and operations. Bryson noted that the growth has been supported by long-term employees, some of whom have been with the company for decades.
Ribbon Cutting Began as All Attendees Participated
Following the speeches, attendees gathered for the ceremonial ribbon cutting, with company leadership, elected officials, and Chamber representatives joining together for photos before the countdown and official cut.
The event had the feel of both a business milestone and a community gathering. Guests mingled throughout the space, with light appetizers served alongside catering from In-N-Out, adding a casual and familiar touch to the afternoon.
The opening signals more than just a new office location. It reflects a company scaling its operations while remaining anchored in Long Beach, contributing to a growing business corridor that city leaders see as key to future economic development. |

Long Beach students recently completed an unforgettable adventure with the Adopt-A-Chick program, which brought live chicks into classrooms across the city.
Organized by Ground Education, this initiative gave children in grades TK, Kindergarten, and fifth grade a chance to observe, hold, and care for baby chicks—often for the very first time.
Participants explored early life, animal behavior, and life science through direct interaction, making science class far more memorable.
The program’s community kickoff at the Marina Farmers Market drew families, allowing locals to symbolically adopt chicks and support future classroom visits.
This blend of hands-on learning and community involvement ensures students connect with the natural world beyond textbooks.
Thanks to continued local support, the Adopt-A-Chick experience is expected to return next spring, nurturing curiosity and engagement in Long Beach classrooms. Read More... |
